My daughter, MadiMay Draper, is one of the first 100 patients in the VEPTR program (Vertical expansion prosthesis titanium rib project). This blog follows her medical journey and, hopefully, shares insight on what it is like to raise a child with special needs.
Hi. I met you at Thrive and I wanted to tell you again how impressed I am with the work you are doing. And Madi, what can I say...you are amazing. You have had an effect on more people than some adults do in a life time. As a special education teacher I'm wondering how to get involved in some of the work you are doing. There needs to be more people out there like you. Is there a way of supporting your projects? Also, could we pray for Madi? We have a prayer meeting at our church and I know they would join the prayers for her surgery. Anything specific that you or your organization needs prayer for? Keep up the great work and God Bless you all!
